The Karczma Młyn Restaurant lies directly by Lake Górzno. It’s the only place around with a private beach and a smokehouse as well as the only facility in northern Poland with a working mill wheel and its own trout farm.

The history of our restaurant

The Karczma Młyn Restaurant is a visiting card of both Górzno and the whole Brodnica Lake District.

It’s located in an old, carefully reconstructed water mill dating back to 1766. The restaurant offers two rooms, and its windows overlook the lake and the surroundings

Polish cuisine

The Karczma Młyn Restaurant serves Polish cuisine, in particular trout from our very own trout farm. Although the dishes are served in quite unusual ways, they’re always prepared with fresh, natural products. The facility also offers a rich choice of beverages and alcohols, including wines from all over the world.

Kid's Menu

We’ve made sure our youngest guests feel special, which is why we’ve prepared a children’s menu filled with their favorite flavors. Enjoy homemade chicken broth, crispy fish sticks, juicy nuggets, and delicious, sweet pancakes. We warmly invite children and their parents to savor delightful moments at Karczma Młyn!

At Karczma Młyn, we’ve created a special place for our youngest guests – a cozy play corner located right in the dining area. Playroom

At Karczma Młyn, we’ve made sure there’s something for the whole family! On the lower floor, you’ll find a spacious playroom for children, equipped with a small ball pit and a variety of toys. It’s the perfect spot where kids can enjoy playtime together after a meal, in a friendly and safe environment. Right next to the playroom is a game room (described below), designed with parents and older children in mind. Parents can take a moment to relax or enjoy a game while still being able to keep an eye on their little ones. This is a place where a family outing turns into real fun for both kids and adults alike!

At Karczma Młyn, we’ve prepared something special for fans of fun and friendly competition! On the lower floor, you’ll find a game room where everyone can find something to enjoy. We offer a ping-pong table, a pool table, and an Xbox console with a variety of games. This is a place where you can have a great time, whether competing in a friendly atmosphere or teaming up for exciting games. The game room is the perfect choice to spend quality time with family and friends—whether you’re in the mood for relaxed or more dynamic activities.
